Hello, when creating a new article, please remember to follow the Manual of Style. In particular:
- Game titles should be italicised.
- Remember to add any relevant categories and navigation templates at the bottom of the page.
- Images are also recommended to show what the subject looks like.

Not only did your article not follow the points I mentioned above, this character has very little information about him (as you brought up on the article) and no official name, so it's not substantial for an article. Please do not create articles only containing a few sentences, an article needs to be in a near complete state upon creation. If you don't have enough information for the subject, then don't create the page at all. The top of MarioWiki:Manual of Style states "Please do NOT create tiny articles just for the sake of filling in red links. Even if the article you are making is about a minor subject, try to put a decent amount of effort into it rather than a rush job."

As an encyclopedia site, we write in third-person and not from a specific person's point of view or referring directly to the reader, so the term "the player", or the character's name, should instead be used in the pronouns' place. |
Hello, Starluxe! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.

Redirects[edit]

Italics[edit]
Whenever you link to italicised titles (titles for games, series, books etc.) with identifiers, make sure the identifier (the part in brackets) is not italicised, and hidden, since it's not part of the name. What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line of the variable(s) you don't use. If you do not wish to use the template at all, then it is acceptable to simply remove it before you upload the file. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |

When uploading, select the license from the drop-down box below the summary text box, or add the license manually after uploading or if you're using the upload function from the text editor. For example, artwork of Mario would use {{character-artwork}}. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Don't include multiple copyright templates; choose the one that you feel best fits the file. If you continue uploading files without applying the correct license, then a warning will be issued. Remember to remove any parameters you're not using in the summary like "Describe edits, if any", and replace {{uncategorized}} with a category link based on where the image is from (in square brackets). So if it's an image from Donkey Kong 3, you add:
[[Category:Donkey Kong 3 images]]
