• Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (pictured) for the Nintendo Switch was released worldwide on May 23, 2024.
• For the 35th anniversary of the Game Boy's release, launch titles Super Mario Land, Baseball, and Alleyway were released on Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online on May 14, 2024.
• Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition was announced for the Nintendo Switch and is set to be released on July 18, 2024.
• On May 7, 2024, Nintendo announced that the successor to the Nintendo Switch will be unveiled by the end of March 2025, in addition to a Nintendo Direct presentation set for June 2024 revealing information on Nintendo Switch games releasing in the second half of 2024.

Iggy Koopa (known as Hop Koopa in the cartoons) is one of the Koopalings, a clan of seven siblings that act as leaders of the Koopa Troop under Bowser (originally considered his children). Iggy is depicted as a crazed, mechanical genius and childish in personality when together with Lemmy Koopa. His two main outstanding physical characteristics are his glasses and light green hair (originally pink, light blue, and yellow). In later appearances, he is shown to be the thinnest of the Koopalings. Iggy is named after Iggy Pop, a famous American punk rock singer and leader of the proto-punk band The Stooges.
