Toadnado Alley is a co-op challenge featured in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, accessed via the Buddydome/Rabbolatory. It is part of the Ultra Challenge Pack DLC, and is in the DLC Co-op Campaigns category, and is part of the "Cataclysm Kerfuffle!" campaign. This challenge is unlocked after clearing Sherbet Desert. The objective of this challenge is to escort Toad and Toadette to their respective exits. Completion of this challenge unlocks the "hard" difficulty option for the challenge. The name of this challenge is a pun on Tornado Alley, an area of the United States where tornadoes are most frequent.
Description[edit]
Toad and Toadette are at it again and they couldn't have picked a worse time to need an escort - tornado season! Hint: manipulate Bucklers or use your weapons to break through glass barriers.
Layout[edit]
The battlefield is of medium size and almost symmetrical. The heroes and the Toads all start at the southern side of the map, where they are separated by a gap, although the paths eventually merge. Each team also has one member of the opposite team. The eastern and western sides are high ground, both the cover blocks are different; the left side has Bounce blocks while the right has Honey blocks. Two Sherbet Hoppers each inhabit these points of high ground. Not far from the teams' locations are two Sherbet Smashers, although only one is on each side. The northern side of the battlefield has both exits, but each is barricaded by glass cover. Pipes allow travel across the gap and the left and right high ground points.
Battle[edit]
The heroes must defeat escort Toad and Toadette to their required destinations to win. After the heroes' turn, a tornado will appear and move across the upper-middle section of the battlefield. During the battle, enemies will rise up from the ground. These include Sherbet Ziggies, Sherbet Smashers, Sherbet Supporters and Lava Bucklers. After both Toad and Toadette have reached their goals, the challenge is won.
