This article is about Funky's location in Donkey Kong Country 3. For a series of minigames in the game's remake, see Funky's Rentals (minigame).

Funky's Rentals, also called the Rental Shop,[1] is a rental garage owned by Funky Kong on the Northern Kremisphere world map in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is where he builds his own watercraft, and leases them to the Kongs free of charge. Funky's Rentals is the first place that Dixie visits, and Funky allows her to borrow his Motor Boat, and gives her Kiddy Kong to babysit. Funky's Rentals has a dropdown menu on a paper scroll at around the top-left corner of the screen, where the player can either select a vehicle to use on the world map or exit the building. The Motor Boat is the only vehicle available from the menu at first, but few more can be added after the Kongs obtain an essential item that Funky needs to build them. The second vehicle, the Hover Craft, can be built by Funky once the Kongs have obtained the patch. The Turbo Ski can only be constructed once Dixie and Kiddy obtain both skis. Lastly, if the Kongs have every DK Coin, Funky will construct his final vehicle, the Gyrocopter.

In the Game Boy Advance version, Funky also houses a caged Banana Bird that the Kongs can obtain by completing Funky's four minigame challenges, in order: "Destroy", "Disarm", "Protect", and "Race". The first challenge is available by default, but the other three become available for each new vehicle that Funky constructs. The menu no longer appears from a paper scroll, and the vehicles are instead part of a single "Hire boat" option, where the player selects the boat for Dixie and Kiddy to use.
