Zexal, Ikoma in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, Denki Kaminari (aka Chargebolt) in My Hero Acadamia, Gorou in Genshin Impact, Ultraman Z in Ultraman Z, male Shez in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, as well as numerous dubbing roles in both live-action and animated films like Camilo Madrigal in the Japanese dub of Encanto. Since 2019, Hatanaka is married to fellow voice actor Sayaka Senbongi.
