Treasure is a Japanese video game company who developed Wario World for the Nintendo GameCube. Although Wario World was one of the company's best-selling games, they never went on to create further ones for the Mario franchise. They have also created many third-party games such as Gunstar Heroes, Dynamite Headdy, and Mischief Makers, the former two of which are now downloadable on the Virtual Console.
